Beautiful holiday cottages for rent. Nestled in the award winning Heritage Coast, on the outskirts of Southerndown, in The Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Situated just a few minutes from the Wales coastal path its the perfect location for exploring the stunning Welsh coastline. The good news, each of our cottages are pet friendly and are within walking distance to a local pub!
We offer a fantastic choice of accommodation. There are two 4* self-catering cottages available to rent for weekly bookings throughout the year. For larger parties we offer Slade Cottage. With 7 bedrooms it sleeps 9 guests and overlooks 9 acres of stunning gardens. The Hen House, with 3 bedrooms, sleeps 5, perfect for a family break. Our Shepherds hut, sleeps two in a cosy double bed. Set with a veranda and picnic table this is a romantic location for the adventurous. Off grid, so lighting is provided with lanterns, however shower and toilet facilities are close by!

If you fancy immersing yourself in the full farm experience we offer guided farm walks. Learn about organic farming, our stunning natural environment and meet the animals. Remember you can pre-book a £40 seasonal meat box from us, or any of our delicious farm produce from our farm shop!
If you fancy camping on the farm our campsite is just outside Southerndown village, on the award winning Heritage Coast. If you are a Doctor Who fan, you will recognise the local beach, known in the series as Bad Wolf Bay! With breath-taking views of Dunraven Bay, it is a superb spot for exploring the Welsh coastline, however it is very very basic!
We do not have any electric hook ups, toilets or showers. However, there is a lovely village pub in the village, The 3 Golden Cups. Our rates vary over the season & we can only take a small number of units. Therefore, pre-booking is essential.

Planning a barbeque when you are set up? Remember you can pre-book a seasonal meat box from us, to try our delicious farm produce or visit our farm shop (open Thur 2 till 5 and Sat 10 till 2)
CAMPSITE DIRECTIONS
Our postcode is CF32 0RP - however this will take you to Southerndown Village. At the 3 Golden Cups Pub in Southerndown, turn down Beach Road go past a small car park on your right then through 2 stone pillars - our campsite is the field on the left - through a farm gate. If you end up at the beach at the bottom of the hill you have gone too far! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Throughout the year we manage our farmland to work in sync with natural habitats. We have SSSI and special flower meadows, our campsite is one of those meadows. We work with experts to develop natural habitats for our farmland birds, wild flowers and animals and insect species. Thus we do not cut our campsite field until August to increase biodiversity.

If you are looking for more of a Glamping experience, however, why not try our shepherd's hut? A delightful hut with a double bed and shower/ WC facilities.
